Union RR History

Swan Lake: Elegant drills and beautifully arranged music from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake reached a high point when huge swan-flags filled the skies at the close of this stirring program. Union finished 2nd at the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association State Marching Band Championship by a mere .005 of a point, narrowly missing their 4th State title in a row. The Renegade Regiment captured 1st place at the '91 WGI - Marching Band Championship. In a rare, late-year music competition, Union visited Orlando, Florida in May and walked away with 18 awards in Concert Band, Field Marching, Jazz Band, and Winter Guard events.
