Ben Hur: A huge boat drill formation that included a wind machine and colorguard manning oars for added visual impact was one of the highlights of the program. The 1992 show earned Union 1st Place at the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association State Marching Band Championship, and the band also took top honors at the Invitational Festival in Denver and had the thrill of performing at a Broncos football game in Mile High Stadium. As an added honor, the Renegade Regiment performed for President George Bush during a campaign stop in Tulsa. (Music by: Miklos Rozsa * Arranged by: Jair Klarfeld * Drill Design by: Alan Mueggenborg)
