Queen
of Sheba: Caravan
tents dotted the field adding visual emphasis to the musical story of
the mythical African city and its queen. Union tied for 2nd place at the
Oklahoma Bandmasters Association State Marching Band Championship. Although
the Renegade Regiment did not attend the Bands Of America Grand National
Championship, they placed 2nd at the BOA Regional Competition in Denton.
They also won the WGI Friendship Cup held in St. Louis. (Music by: Ottorino
