Haunting of Elfman: A collection of dramatic music from Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands movie soundtracks comprised this year's show. The band donned top hat and tails to bring a little Jack Skellington to the field, while the drum majors wore bold stripes for a Beetlejuice fashion statement. The colorguard joined in as they transformed from zombies to ghostly spirits throughout the show. The hauntingly beautiful music, (especially the woodwinds singing at the end of the closer), unique uniforms and field props blended together for a wonderful show. The Renegade Regiment placed 2nd at the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association State Marching Band Championship, and 1st Place in the Street and Grand Champion honors at the Florida Citrus Bowl competition. The eventful year was capped-off by a Millennium Celebration and Parade at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
